Try to imagine a UK Herbie Hancock born and raised in the 70's, crossing paths with a West London producer/beat making Art Blakey. Well..no need. Let me re-introduce you to Likwid Biskit. The brainchild of Ig Culture and Kaidi Tatham.
The deepest, rugged, most musical left of centre sounds in the dance. The Likwid Biskit Anthology is the DNA of that thing we call Broken Beats.
Taking musical cues from Sun Ra, Headhunters, Dilla and such, fused with sounds of their collective life experience. What Ig and Kaidi give you is a pure, honest, raw expression.
Anthology Then & Now is a collection of their work from the Goya / People Records years to the CoOp era and beyond.
